Cyber Security Awareness Training
This course is designed to prepare you to prevent and contain cyber-attacks by building fundamental awareness across your organization.
Cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure are becoming more common, complex, and creative. Life, property, and the environment are at stake. This course aims to help you prevent and mitigate cyber-attacks by raising awareness across your organization.
Duration: 1 day.
The language of the training is English. The course is organised in cooperation with DNV's global training organisation.
Course objective
At the end of this training, you will gain an understanding on the following:
- Current situation: the context is changing fast
- Relevant concepts and terminology related to cybersecurity: the reality beside the possible actions
- Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Cybersecurity
- Entities and stakeholder
- Relationship between cybersecurity and relevant concepts
- Cybersecurity framework and ISMS.
Course benefits
- Students will be able to understand the process-based approach towards managing information risk as well as managing all the aspects of an Information Security Management System
- The course will also enable the students to prepare a personal action plan to apply the best practices of the ISO 27001 Standard for ISMS learnt during the course, at their place of work.
Who should attend?
This course is designed for developers, consultants and telecom engineers at manufacturers and end-user utilities who need up-to-date knowledge about applying cyber security to their communication protocols.
