Barbara Frencia elected IIOC Deputy Chair
The Independent International Organisation for Certification (IIOC) is a trade body of key international certification bodies.
IIOC Chief Executive Marcus Long is pleased to confirm Barbara Frencia, CEO of Business Assurance in DNV as IIOC Deputy Chair and Chair designate.
“I am delighted Barbara is taking up the role of Deputy Chair, which leads to taking up the IIOC Chair role in 2024. Barbara has been a great addition to the IIOC Board since joining in 2021 and will continue to add to the key priorities IIOC will work on for IIOC members’ customers and stakeholders,’ says Marcus Long.
Representing international certification bodies, the vision of IIOC is to promote the value of high quality accredited certification and other assurance services to ensure cost effective, high quality delivery of benefits to all clients and their customers and stakeholders.
From its conception in 1993, IIOC has represented the members’ views on certification and assurance services issues, providing technical input that influences decision making in this field. Membership of IIOC is open to international certification bodies plus national and regional certification associations that share and support its aims.
